OmiseGo (OMG) is joining hands with several platforms to contribute towards developing of Ethereum infrastructure. The collaboration is a big leap for OMG and enables it to gain prominence in the industry. Collaborating with other platforms is vital for the coin since most of its projects changed the route from the Ethereum network to its rivals.

OmiseGo were in dire need of the collaboration as it paves a pathway for prominent investors to invest in the wider Ethereum industry. The investors will work towards a similar goal of developing a firm infrastructure that will contribute towards the development of more productive projects.

Creation of a community fund for Ethereum

OmiseGo (OMG) is partnering with other platforms supporting the Ethereum projects. The alliance will come up with the Ethereum Community Fund which is highly dedicated to developing a decentralized infrastructure for applications. The community fund’s objective is to provide a space where the collaboration of smart ideas is the key towards having essential pieces for the broader Ethereum space.

The first agenda of the partnership is to design a Grant program that will operate as an endowment to the permanent financial plans. The Grant program would also support methods for achieving crucial and decentralized infrastructure for applications. The alliance will also integrate existing projects that have a similar interest in building up a base for the infrastructure of the ecosystem. The founding partners for the Ethereum Community Fund expect that other partners will pave way for the entrance of new members into the community fund for Ethereum.

Buterin and Vansa to advice Ethereum Community Fund

Buterin hopes that the alliance will succeed and deliver its objective to the market. He said that the growth of Ethereum was beyond his expectations for the last few years, however not much work is clearly completed. He added that providing value for the crypto market is the way to go in 2018, and a perfect example of this is through the ECF which facilitates the development of the ecosystem.

OmiseGo is also part of the broader family in the community fund for Ethereum. The coin offered one of the senior members, Vansa Chatikavanji to also advice the community fund. The founder of OmiseGo Jun Hasegawa’s liked the idea of forming an alliance. What moved him so much was the Grant program which is the foundation of the EFC. He expressed his joy on Twitter where he tweeted, “happy to working with you guys” and “exciting moment has been started with ECF”.
